Hans Wehr (Arabic Almanac)

The Hans Wehr app is a digital version of the famous Arabic-English Hans Wehr dictionary. You can search through the dictionary by using the root letter of the word and the app will display the corresponding page from the Hans Wehr dictionary.

This app was developed to aid students of the Arabic language in their noble pursuit. This app will remove the need of carrying around a bulky dictionary and replace it with the convenience of your smartphone. Now you have access to all the same information but at the comfort of your fingertips.

The dictionary can be searched using an Arabic keyboard, or if you do not have an Arabic keyboard the dictionary can be searched using roman (English) letters which have an Arabic equivalent. To search just simply enter the root letters of the word and click search. You can navigate through the pages of the dictionary by swiping left and right. (See the About section in the app for more details).

To enable offline mode please open the Settings page and download the necessary files. The app provides quick access features to check the verb forms and the Roman to Arabic letter conversion. If you are experiencing difficulties with the app crashing when trying to enable offline mode, then please uninstall the app and download the latest update which fixes this issue.

At the moment only the Hans Wehr (Arabic-English) dictionary is supported, but we are working on releasing other dictionaries as well.

L'application Hans Wehr est une version numérique du dictionnaire arabe-anglais Hans Wehr célèbre. Vous pouvez rechercher dans le dictionnaire en utilisant la lettre de la racine du mot et de l'application pour afficher la page correspondante du dictionnaire Hans Wehr.

Cette application a été développée pour aider les étudiants de la langue arabe dans leur noble quête. Le dictionnaire peut être recherché en utilisant un clavier arabe, ou si vous ne disposez pas d'un clavier arabe, le dictionnaire peut être recherché en utilisant roman (anglais) des lettres qui ont un équivalent arabe. Pour rechercher tout simplement entrer les lettres du mot racine et cliquez sur Rechercher. Vous pouvez naviguer à travers les pages du dictionnaire en faisant glisser à gauche et à droite. (Voir la section A propos de l'application pour plus de détails).

Pour activer le mode hors-ligne s'il vous plaît ouvrir la page Paramètres et télécharger les fichiers nécessaires. L'application offre des fonctionnalités d'accès rapide pour vérifier les formes verbales et les Romains à la conversion arabe lettre. Si vous éprouvez des difficultés avec l'application crash lors de la tentative pour activer le mode hors-ligne, alors s'il vous plaît désinstaller l'application et télécharger la dernière mise à jour qui résout ce problème.

Actuellement, seul le dictionnaire Hans Wehr (arabe-anglais) est pris en charge, mais nous travaillons sur la libération d'autres dictionnaires ainsi.
